Henry was born in 1766 in Caroline, Virginia, United States. Henry's father was William Kidd and his mother was Rachel Chowning. His paternal grandparents were AARON Kidd and SUSANNAH; his maternal grandfather was THOMAS Chowning and his maternal grandmother is SARAH Chowning. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Larkin S, Larkin B, John H, Sherrod, George Washington, DEBORAH, Frances, Isabell, Francis, Elias or Elijah and Elizabeth. He had two half-brothers named Henry and John H. He died at the age of 62 on September 22nd, 1828.-
