Thomas was born on February 13th, 1756 in Shenandoah, Virginia, United States. Thomas' father was SERGENT Major John Hash and his mother was REBECCA Anderson. His paternal grandparents were JOHN Hashe and ELLENDER Osborne; his maternal grandparents were JOHN Anderson and REBECCA. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Jacob Anderson, John, William Horton, James, Jane, CANDACIA "Dicy", Jane, Mary, Nancy and Rebecca. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother named John. He died at the age of 92 on December 25th, 1848 in Mt Vernon, Lawrence, Missouri, United States.-
