MABEL was born in 1173 in Chester, Cheshire, England,.1   MABEL's father was HUGH DeMeschines Earl of Chester DeKevelioc and her mother was BERTHA Bertrade DeHainaut DeMontfort.  Her paternal grandparents were RANULPH DeGernon and MAUD DeCaen DeGLOUCESTER; her maternal grandparents were SIMON DeMontfort and MAUD D'Evreux. She had a sister named Alice Agnes deMeschines. She had eight half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named Ranulf, Fulk LeJeune, Louis VI The Fat, Henry, Eudes, Phillippe, Charles, Fleury, Maud, Agnes, Hawise, Beatrix, Amicia, Mabel, Ermengarde, Constance and Cecilia.  She died at the age of 112 in 1285 in Chester, Cheshire, , England.1
