Sarah was born on December 8th, 1765 in Trinity Parish, Charles, Maryland, United States. Sarah's father was THOMAS Reed Cooksey Jr and her mother was ELIZABETH McPherson. Her paternal grandparents were THOMAS Cooksey Sr. and ELIZABETH Ann; her maternal grandfather is JUSTINIAN Jon McPherson and her maternal grandmother was SARAH Reed. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Zachariah, Henry, James, JOSIAH, John Wilkinson, Lucia Levia, Catherine Kitty, Victory and Jane. She died at the age of 75 on April 22nd, 1841.-
