Thomas was born on November 27th, 1613 in Bristol, Somerset, , England. Thomas' father was John Cary and his mother was Elizabeth Hereford. His paternal grandparents were William Cary and Elizabeth Goodall. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Phillip, James, Elizabeth and Prudence. He had eleven half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Henry, Matthew, James, richard, Miles, William, John, Francis, James, Jonathan, David, Honor, Elizabeth, Alice, Ann, Elizabeth and Hannah. He died at the age of 73 on June 17th, 1687 in Monye Creek, Somerset, Maryland, United States.-
