George Ball

George's father was COL JOSEPH Ball Sr. and his mother was ELIZABETH Julia Romney. His paternal grandparents were COL. WILLIAM Ball VIII and HANNAH Atherold; his maternal grandparents were WILLIAM Romney Jr. and MARGARET Bowater. He had eight brothers and eight sisters, named Frances, John, Joseph, John, Richard, Henry, Caleb, Spencer, Hannah, Elizabeth, ESTHER, Anne, Mary, Sarah Martha, Sarah and Martha.
