Robert Carr:
Robert Carr and his brother Caleb Carr came to America,
aboard the "Elizabeth Ann" May 9,1635, after the death of their parents,
to live with their uncle William Carr in Bristol, Rhode Island.
One of the original purchasers from the Indians the Island of of Conanicut
(now Jamestown) Narragansett Bay, near Newport, Rhode Island.
