Narrative
Capt. Banett Wood of Norfolk, England was the Captain of a small sailing ship.
He made several trips back and forth from Jamestown, Virginia to England.
On one trip his wife died leaving him with two small children named Jonathan and Mary Wood.
He brought his children to Jamestown, Virginia and left them with relatives.
He returned to England and was never heard of again.
It is presumed his ship went down and he was lost at sea.
