Stephen Walker was born on May 9th, 1880 in Rockcastle, Kentucky, United States.1 Stephen Walker's father was Stephen Pigg and his mother was Anna Eliza Watkins. His paternal grandfather was James Madison Pigg and his paternal grandmother is Tilda Evans; his maternal grandparents were Mark America Watkins and Amelia Porter. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Horace Greeley, James Madison Preston, Benjamin Franklin, Margaret "Maggie", Anna Eliza and Edna Mae. He died at the age of 75 on June 26th, 1955 in Glendale, Los Angeles, California, United States.1 General Notes
Steven Watkins was adopted as a child. His surname was "Pigg and later changed it to Watkins. Whether "Pigg" was real surname or that of his adoptive parents; or whether adoptive parents were surnamed Watkins is not known. Steven Watkins listed mother was surnamed Watkins.
