William La Zouche
William was born in December 1321 in Harringworth, Northamptonshire, , England.1 William's father was Eudo La Zouche and his mother was Joan Inge. His paternal grandparents were William La Zouche and Maud Lovel Baroness Zouche Harryngworth; his maternal grandparents were William Inge and Margery Grapinel. He was an only child. William la Zouche, 2nd Lord Zouche (of Haryngworth) was born in 1321. He was the son of Eon la Zouche and Joan Inge. He married Elizabeth de Ros, daughter of William de Ros, 2nd Lord de Ros of Helmsley and Margery de Badlesmere, before 16 July 1334. He died on 23 April 1382.
He fought in the Siege of Calais in 1347. He succeeded to the title of 2nd Lord Zouche, of Haryngworth [E., 1308] on 20 November 1348, in his grandfather's lifetime.
