May Horning

May was born in May 1891 in Ohio.¹ May's father was Joseph Horning. Her paternal grandparents were Justin Horning and Chryscentia Schill. She had a brother and two sisters, named Bernard, Helen and Rosalia. She is the second oldest of the four children.
