Female Matilda 'The Empress' of England

Matilda 'The Empress' of was born on August 5th, 1102 in London, Middlesex, , England.1   Matilda 'The Empress' of's father was Henry I Beauclerc King of England and her mother was Matilda Scotland Queen of England.  Her paternal grandparents were William The Conqueror King of England and Matilda Countess of Flanders Queen Consort of England; her maternal grandparents were Malcolm Iii King of Scotland and Margaret 'Saint' of Hungary. She had a brother and a sister, named Geoffrey V Plantagenet Count of and Adelaide of.  She was the oldest of the three children. She had three half-brothers named + Robert (Earl of Gloucester), Reginald and Robert.  She died at the age of 67 on September 10th, 1169 in Rouen, Seine-Maritime, Haute-Normandie, France.1
