Gertrud von Habsburg

Gertrud was born about 1191 in Schloss Limburg, Ad. Rhein, Freiburg, Baden, Germany.¹ Gertrud's father was Count Rudolf of Habsburg-Laufenburg II and her mother was Agnes von Staufen. Her paternal grandparents were Count Albrecht of Habsburg II and Countess Ita of Pfullendorf; her maternal grandfather is <Unknown> and her maternal grandmother was <Unknown>. She had two brothers and a sister, named Albrecht, Rudolph and Heilwig. She was the second oldest of the four children.
