King Rudolf of the Germans I

Rudolf was born on May 1st, 1218 in Schloss Limburg, Ad. Rh., Freiburg, Baden, Germany.¹ Rudolf's father was Count Albrecht of Habsburg IV and his mother was Countess Hedwige of Kyburg. His paternal grandparents were Count Rudolf of Habsburg-Laufenburg II and Agnes von Staufen; his maternal grandparents were Count Ulrich of Kyburg and <Unknown>. He had a sister named Kunigunde. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 73 on July 15th, 1291 in Germersheim, Oberpfalz, Bavaria.¹
