Robert (the Strong Fortis) was born in 0820. Robert (the Strong Fortis)'s father was Rutpert (Robert) III Wormsgau and his mother was Wiltrud (Waltrada) Orleans. His paternal grandparents were Rutpert (Robert) II Wormsgau and Theoderata (Tiedrada) Wormsgau; his maternal grandparents were Hadrian de Wormsgau and Waldrat Hornbach. He was an only child. He died at the age of 46 on September 15th, 0866.
