Alberia (Elvira) of Castile

Alberia, known as Elvira, was born in 1114.¹ Elvira's father was Alfonso (The Brave) Jiminez of Castile and Leon VI and her mother was Zaida al Mu'tadid. Her paternal grandparents were Count of Castile Ferdinand (The Great) Jiminez I and Sancha de Leon. She had three sisters named Teresa, Elvira and Sancha. She had a half-sister named Urraca. She died at the age of 20 on February 8th, 1134.¹
