Agnes of Acquitaine

Agnes was born in 1097 in Poitiers, France.¹ Agnes' father was Duke of Acquitaine and Gascony, Count of Poitiers William (The Troubador) of Acquitaine VII/IX and her mother was Countess Maud of Toulouse. Her paternal grandparents were Geoffrey and Hildegarde; her maternal grandparents were Count William of Toulouse IV and Emma of Mortain. She had two brothers named William and Raimond. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 62 in 1159.¹
