Thomas was born in 1175 in Multon, Lincolnshire, England.1   Thomas' father was Sir Thomas de Multon and his mother was Eleanor de Boston.  His paternal grandparents were Lambert de Multon and Hawise de Briwere. He had a sister named Eleanor.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 65 in 1240 in Burgh-by-Sands, Cumberland, England.2
