Milo was born about 1069 in Courtenay, France.1   Milo's father was Josceline de Courtenay and his mother was Isabel de Montlhery.  His paternal grandparents were Athon de Courtenay and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Signeur Gui Milo de Montlhery and Hilduin de Gometz. He had a sister named Hermengard.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died in 1127 in France.  His burial was in Abbey of Fountain Jean, France.2 1
