Sybil was born in 1471.  Sybil's father was Simon Milbourne and her mother was Jane Baskerville.  Her paternal grandparents were John Milboune and Elizabeth Devereaux; her maternal grandparents were Ralph Baskerville and Anne Blackett. She had eleven sisters named Blanche, Elizabeth, Ann, Catherine, Joyce, Elinor, Alice, Margaret, Agnes, Jane and Juliana.  She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.
