Letha McCoy

Letha was born on September 22nd, 1803 in Bedford Co., Virginia.¹ Letha's father was William McCoy and her mother was Joanna Payne. Her paternal grandparents were William McCoy Sr. and Ann; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Payne and <Unknown>. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, John, Jubal, Nancy, Elizabeth, Joanna, Zilpa and Mary. She was the eighth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 85 on June 15th, 1889.¹
