Agata Lekapene

Agata was born in 0915 in Constantinople, Turkey.¹ Agata's father was Emperor Romanus Lekapenos of Byzantium I and her mother was Theodora of Byzantium. Her paternal grandparents were Theophylaktos Abstartus and <Unknown>. She had five brothers and a sister, named Throphylanos, Christophoros, Stephanos, Konstantinos, Theophylaktos and Eleni. She was the youngest of the seven children.
