Sarah I Jared

Sarah was born on May 28th, 1849 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.¹ Sarah's father was Mayson Jared and her mother was Polly Dowell. Her maternal grandparents were Elijah Dowell and Jemima Board. She had seven brothers and seven sisters, named Saloy, James, Joel, William, Israel, John, Clayton, Eliza, Mary, Letitia, Melinda, Amanda, Safrona and Mirian. She was the twelfth oldest of the fifteen children.
