John Bugg Gee

John was born on June 20th, 1801 in Lunenburg Co., Virginia.¹ John's father was James Gee and his mother was Lucy Bugg. His paternal grandparents were Neavil Gee and Catherine Lucas; his maternal grandparents were John Bugg and Lucy Pennington. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Pennington, Jefferson, Sack, Elizabeth and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the six children.
