John Levi Burke

John was born on July 29th, 1895 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., Kentucky.¹ John's father was John Burke and his mother was Fanny Ella Ferguson. His paternal grandparents were John Patrick Burke and Mary Ann Ingram; his maternal grandparents were Levy Ferguson and Jane Foster. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Jesse, Almer, Burr, Rachel, Mary, Ada and Laura. He was the fifth oldest of the eight children. He died at 1 months old on September 11th, 1895. His burial was in St. John's Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky.²²
