John Trammel Beatty

John was born on October 28th, 1838 in Grayson Co., Kentucky.¹ John's father was John P. Beatty and his mother was Elizabeth M. Dennison. His paternal grandparents were William Beatty and Delilah Pirtle. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, James, Henry, Emily and Nancy. He was the oldest of the six children. He had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named William, Adam, John, Miles, Andrew and Delilah.
