Owen Henry Basham

Owen was born in July 1862 in Kentucky.¹ Owen's father was Isaac Thomas Basham and his mother was Melissa Squires. His paternal grandparents were Frederick Dowell Basham and Abigail Norton. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Berry, Lillard, Obediah, Fredrick, Fred, Mary, Anna and Cinderilla "Cindy". He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 80 on April 26th, 1943 in Brandenburg, Meade Co., Kentucky. His burial was in April 1943 in Cap Anderson Cemetery, Brandenburg, Meade Co., Kentucky.¹¹
