Emperor Philip von Hohenstaufen 
Philip was born in 1176 in Schwaben, Bavaria.1 Philip's father was Emperor Friedrich "Barbarossa" von Hohenstaufen I and his mother was Beatrice de Bourgogne. His maternal grandparents were Comte Renaud de Bourgogne III and Agathe de Lorraine. He had two brothers and a sister, named Heinrich, Otto and Beatrix. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 32 on June 21st, 1208 in Bamberg, Bayern.1 General Notes
