Rasso van Gavre 
Rasso was born in 1150 in Gavere, East Flanders, Belgium.1 Rasso's father was Sire Bertrand de Gavre and his mother was Ida Domnison de Chievres. His maternal grandparents were Sir Guy de Chievres and Ida de Ath. He had a sister named Bertha. He was the younger of the two children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Nicholas, girl and Juliane. He died at the age of 40 in 1190.1 General Notes
