Prince Boleslaw of Liegnitz-Brieg III

Boleslaw was born on September 23rd, 1291 in Legnica, Wroclaw, Poland.¹ Boleslaw's father was Prince Henryk (The Stout) of Breslau V and his mother was Princess Elzbieta of Kalisch. His paternal grandparents were Boleslaw (The Bald) of Liegnitz-Glogau II and Princess Hedwig of Anhalt; his maternal grandparents were Prince Boleslaw (The Pious) of Kalisch and Princess Ilona Arpad of Hungary. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Henryk, Wladislaw, Jadwiga, Anna, Eufemia, Elzbieta and Helena. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 60 in April 1352 in Brzeg, Opole, Poland.¹
