Duke Reinoud (de Zwarte) of Guelders II 
Reinoud, known as de Zwarte, was born in 1295 in Arnhem, Gelderland, Netherlands.1 De Zwarte's father was Duke Rainald of Guelders I and his mother was Marguerite de Dampierre. His paternal grandparents were Count Otto of Guelders II and Philippa de Dammartin; his maternal grandparents were Guy de Dampierre and Isabelle de Luxembourg. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Guido, Philipp, Margarethe, Philippa and isabella. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 48 on October 12th, 1343 in Arnhem, Gelderland, Netherlands. He was buried in Klooster's-Gravendall, Gelderland, Netherlands.2 1 -
