Thurston le Despencer 
Thurston was born in 1122 in Ponthieu, Normandy, France.1 Thurston's father was Count William Talvace III and his mother was Alice of Burgundy. His paternal grandparents were Earl of Shrewsbury Robert de la Spencer II and Agnes of Montreuil and Ponthieu; his maternal grandparents were Duke of Burgundy Eudes (The Red) Capet-Burgundy I and Sibylle de Bourgogne de Macon. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Guy, Guy, Ela and Adela. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 87 in 1209 in London, Middlesex, England.1 -
