Eustace was born in 1080 in Whitney, Herefordshire, England.1 Eustace's father was Turstin (The Fleming) de Wigmore and his mother was Agnes de Merleberge. His paternal grandparents were Rolf Wy Flandrensis and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Alured de Merleberge and <Unknown>. He was an only child.
