Ralph de Vernon 
Ralph was born in 1221 in Shipbrook, Northwich, Cheshire, England.1 Ralph's father was Warine de Vernon and his mother was Auda de Malbank. His paternal grandparents were Richard de Vernon and Avice de Avenel; his maternal grandparents were William de Malbank and Andeline de Beauchamp. He had six brothers and a sister, named Warine, Nicholas, William, Robert, Richard, Matthew and Alice. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 49 in 1270 in Rector of Hanwell, Cheshire, England.2 General Notes
