Lord of Panmure Philip de Valognes

Philip was born in 1095 in Benington, Hertford, Hertfordshire, England.¹ Philip's father was Robert Hamo de Valognes and his mother was Agnes Fitzrichard. His paternal grandparents were Piers de Valognes and Albreda de Rie. He had four brothers named Theobald, John, Geoffrey and Robert. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 80 on May 11th, 1175 in Panmure, Forfarshire, Scotland.¹
