Miles de Stapleton 
Miles was born in 1320 in Bedale, North Ride, Yorkshire, England.1 Miles' father was Sir Gilbert de Stapleton and his mother was Agnes FitzAlan. His paternal grandparents were Miles de Stapleton and Sybil Beaulieu; his maternal grandparents were Brian FitzAlan III and Maud de Baliol. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Brian, Nicholas, John, Katherine and Avicia. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died as a war casualty, Battle of Auray, France, at the age of 44 on December 4th, 1364 in Auray, France.1 -
