Roger de Salmsbury 
Roger was born in 1180 in Samlesbury, Lancashire, England.1 Roger's father was Gospatric de Salmsbury and his mother was <Unknown>. His paternal grandparents were Swain de Hindley and <Unknown>. He was an only child. He died at the age of 47 in 1227.2 General Notes
Swain son of Leofwin held the Burnhull share of Hindley, Lancashire, and gave it to a certain Gospatric in free marriage; in 1212 Roger the son of Gospatric held this portion of Thomas de Burnhull.
