Robert de Ros 2nd Lord of Hamlake 
Robert was born in 1124 in Helmsly, Holderness, Yorkshire, England.1 Robert's father was Piers de Ros and his mother was Adeline Espec. His paternal grandparents were Malcolm de Ros and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Walter Espec and Adeline de Beauchamp. He had a brother named Gilbert. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 38 in 1162.1 General Notes
