His paternal grandparents were Robert Knightley and Agnes d' Oyly; his maternal grandparents were Ives Pantulph and Aline Verdun. He had a sister named Joan. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 46 in 1302 in Ostallgau, Bayern, Germany.1 -
