Aline was born in 1159 in Wycombe, Buckshire, England.1 Aline's father was Philip Fitzrobert de Gai and her mother was Sedzilia de Berkeley. Her paternal grandparents were 1st Earl of Gloucester Robert (The Consul) of Caen and Mabel (Maud) Fitzhammon; her maternal grandparents were Roger III De Berkeley and Rissa De Montgomery. She was an only child. She died in England.1 -
