Baron Ivo de Grantmesnil (Ives)

Ivo was born in 1064 in Grentemesnil, Calvados, France.¹ Ivo's father was Hugh de Grentemesnil and his mother was Adeliza de Beaumont. His paternal grandparents were Robert de Grentmesnil and Hawise d'Eschafour; his maternal grandparents were Comte Yves Ivo de Beaumont II and Judith Adela de Gournay. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Ives, Amice, Agnes and Rohese. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 54 in 1118 in Hinckley, Leicestershire, England.¹
