Countess of Guines Beatrice de Gand (Beatrix Castellan) 
Beatrice was born in 1040 in Bourboucy, France.1 Beatrice's father was Constable of Ghent Henry de Gand and her mother was Comtesse Sibilla Manasses. Her paternal grandparents were Baldwin de Gand and Liutgard Luxembourg; her maternal grandparents were Manasses Robert de Guisnes and Emma of Tancarville. She was an only child.
