Robert I de Coucy 
Robert I was born in 1188 in Coucy, Aisne, Picardy, France.1 Robert I's father was Sir Raoul de Coucy and his mother was Adeheid de Dreux. His paternal grandparents were Enguerrand II de Coucy and Agnes de Beaugency. He had three brothers and a sister, named Enguerrand III, Thomas II, Raoul and Agnés. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had three half-sisters named Isabeau, Yolande and Ada.-
