Osbern was born in 0940 in Bolbec, Seine-Inferieure, Normandie, France.1   Osbern's father was Gatier de Bolbec and his mother was <Unknown>.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 87 in 1027 in Longueville-sur-Scie, Seine-Inferieure, Normandy, France.1
