Dorothy de Assheton

Dorothy was born in 1488 in Middleton, Lancashire, England.¹ Dorothy's father was Richard de Assheton and her mother was Elizabeth Talbot. Her paternal grandparents were Ralph de Assheton and Margaret Barton. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Richard, Edmund, Margaret, Alice and Elizabeth. She was the second youngest of the six children.
