Matilda was born in 1030 in Alluyes, Orleanais, France.1   Matilda's father was Walter de Alluyes and her mother was <Unknown>.  Her paternal grandparents were Hugh de Alluyes and Richilde.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 49 in 1079.1
