Cynfyn was born in 0978 in Powys, Cymru.1 Cynfyn's father was Gwerystan ap Gwaithford and his mother was Nest verch Cadell. His paternal grandparents were Gwaithfoed ap Gwynnan and Morfydd verch Ynyr; his maternal grandparents were Cadell ap Brochwel and <Unknown>. He had a brother and four sisters, named Gurganny, Eleanor, Lleuki, Letitia and verch Gwerystan. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 97 in 1075 in Castell Powys, Powys, Cymru.1 -
