Blettrws ap Ednowain

Blettrws was born in 1026 in Llys Y Coed, Cilcain, Flintshire, Wales.¹   Blettrws' father was Ednowain (Feiniad) ap Cynan and his mother was Gwerfyl verch Llydocca. He had six brothers and a sister, named Madog, Goronwy, Rotpert, Maredydd, Gwyn, Gruffydd and Ceinfryd.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.
