Charles Evans was born on July 12th, 1843 in Amelia Co., VA..1 Charles Evans' father was William Allen Wingo and his mother was Sarah Jane Johnson. His paternal grandparents were Allen Wingo and Martha P. Hurt. He was an only child. He died at the age of 67 on March 20th, 1911 in VA.. He was buried on March 20th, 1911 in Richmond, Henrico, VA. - Hollywood Cemetery.General Notes
