Robert WHITAKER 
Robert was born about 1845. Robert's father was William WHITAKER Sr. and his mother was Elizabeth STAPLER. His maternal grandparents were John S. STAPLER and Ann NORMAN. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John, William, James, Joseph L., Elijah, Nathan, Caroline Celina, Elisabeth, Mahala and Nancy. He was the third youngest of the eleven children.-
